Army Spc. Andrew Brown was injured whilst on operations in Afghanistan. His faithful friend and canine partner Rocky, who was always by his side, was hurt in the blast too. An IED (Improvised Explosive Device) exploded whilst Brown and Rocky were searching for a structure in the region they were carrying out operations.
Both man and dog are being cared for at the Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, D.C, where they are being treated together in the same room, side by side.
