“Selfie ˈsɛlfi/ noun, informal :a photograph that one has taken of oneself, typically one taken with a smartphone or webcam and shared via social media.”
Note that the definition of selfie doesn’t say ANYTHING about dogs. Either the dog in this Vine (a short video for sharing on social media for those not down wiv da kids) hasn’t read the dictionary or she is trying to start a new craze bigger than loom bands and the Harlem Shake.
Everyone knows how to take a selfie, right? There is an art to it. Firstly, you’ve got to get your duck face on (or in this case, dog face), sucking in your cheeks and looking pouty. Then, you do the ‘up and thrust’, an age old technique where you lift the camera up and thrust your chin out, whilst holding your tongue on the roof of your mouth. Fab for hiding double chins in photographs!
It appears that this doggy HAS been reading up on how to pose for the perfect selfie…watch her strut her stuff and laugh your socks off.
